Centurion engines represent the future of private light aviation. They have many advantages in comparison with gasoline engines. Economical fuel consumption, engine cost and reliability. The German company Centurion has been specializing in manufacture of engines for the military industry since 1997. Since recently the company has been producing certified aircraft engines:
These engines are installed into Cessna-172, Piper-28, Diamond DA-40/DA-42, Robin DR-400 and other aircraft. They are completed with their own reducing gear and three-bladed controllable pitch propeller.
The engines run simultaneously on the common European-quality diesel fuel and TS-1 jet kerosene available in all airports all over the world.
As of January 2012, these engines have flown more than 3 000 000 fault-free hours.
